Smooth Jazz Now.com is very proud to announce the addition of Radio and TV personality Cameron Smith to their new on air line-up. Smith will host the popular mid-day slot from noon-3pm (eastern) starting Monday September 28/09.

Cameron Smith is no stranger to being in the spotlight; at 16 he was an integral part of his first TV gig, Disco Daze filmed at ITV in Edmonton, the same spot where SCTV became a national phenomenon.

His name has also been long associated with his one true love – Smooth Jazz. As host of Smooth Jazz TV for 14 years, Smith spread the word across 30 major markets in the United States. He hosted 350 episodes and interviewed almost every major figure in the genre including Al Jarreau, George Benson, Chris Botti, Patti Austin, Larry Carlton and Fourplay.

“I’m so honored to join the team at Smooth Jazz Now.com and share my endless passion for Smooth Jazz with the planet…as the mid day host!” says Smith.
“Finally a global radio station broadcasting live with all the new releases we crave and your favorite hits from four glorious decades of Smooth Jazz,” he adds.

John Beaudin, Program Director of Smooth Jazz Now, says “I’ve always known that Cameron and I would work together someday and I couldn’t be happier that this is the project that made that happen.” Beaudin says, “Cameron is so incredibly plugged into this music and he has the energy of the space shuttle so he’s the man for that important day part.”

Smith says, “Expect the unexpected as I track three hours of magic and hip you to my groove…mid days…from noon to 3pm each day.
NOW is the time for an exciting new brand of Smooth Jazz…NOW is the time for Smooth Jazz Now.com!”

Last week Smooth Jazz Now.com announced Jazz guitarist Ken Navarro would serve as the Afternoon Drive host (3-6 eastern). He also starts on Monday September 28th.

Also announced last week a new Saturday night Chill program ‘On the Rocks’ with Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards winner Daniela Nardi as host.

Smooth Jazz Now.com launched as an internet radio station on September 1/09. Serving as an online music magazine for ten years it’s the largest website covering the genre at 7000+ pages.

Review Policy - Smooth Jazz Now.com believes money does not buy a positive review. The music world is filled with magazines and websites that will play you, or positively review you if you buy advertising. That's not what we are about. It's a little thing called credibility. If you want to advertise with us, we welcome you and will do our very best to make sure anyone who visits this site will know your name, but we won't guarantee you a positive review. If you work with a magazine that gives you these guarantees remember it's your reputation that's on the line, they've already sold theirs. - John Beaudin, President, Smooth Jazz Now.com
